Interview with Dr. B Weinstein (@brookeweinst)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I have a passion for helping others through the platform of health and wellness. This carrier completely changed my life as I pursued my doctorate in being an occupational therapist. To help people recover mentally and physically to feel better is such a fantastic feeling. I’m motivated every day to grow this field of mine in every country across the world.

Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

The most exciting thing I think has been being able to treat people of every culture and learn their traditions that I would never have imagined. It’s pretty interesting to get in touch with diverse communities.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Be innovative and never settle for what you have. There’s no such thing as stagnating. You’re either moving forward or moving backward. Always have a progressive mentality.

None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person whom you are grateful for who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I give credit to my entire corporate colleagues and my family. I might be the face of this job, but I wouldn’t be where I am today without my supporters. They are the heart and soul of my every success.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I don’t use the word success too much. I have a quote that I live by, “significance over success” when you have success, it’s all about you, and that’s not a good way to think. It’s always about the people around you and changing their lives for the better and living a life of significance.

Do you have a favorite Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Significance over Success!” I heard that from a mentor of mine growing up, and it changed the way I view life. Living life for more than yourself. It made me the wife I am today, the mother I am today, the friend I am today, and the overall human being I am today!

How can our readers follow you on social media?
