Interview with Marcos Favela
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Since elementary school, I have been acting in plays and dramas. When I came to high school, I joined the acting club and worked to become the best actor in my school. Then I had the chance to study under Mr Lynch at Modesto Junior College that pushed me towards pursuing my dream of acting.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Always be patient. Patience is the key to happiness. You just need to trust in your abilities and make efforts to do what you want to do. Rushing won’t make time go faster.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I am a family person. My family has been extremely supportive of me and it is with their encouragement that I have set out to achieve my goals and dreams. Family is truly the most important thing in the world.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I try to always help people by making them comprehend that it is completely okay to not have a picture-perfect life. Everyone has ups and downs, and I am very vocal about my life because I want people to see that it will be okay.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
It’s something I believe in: “You are born to simply be alive. Appreciate the time you have and honor your existence and be grateful you are even able to breathe. There’s no race, life happens when it happens. Things will come to you when you are ready for it. That’s for love, success, moving, anything.”
