Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I’ve been a lover of music my entire life. In 8th grade, I performed a rap song for a talent show, and have been creating music ever since. Since then, I’ve produced music for the likes of Snoop Dogg, YG, The Vixens, The Rej3ctz and more. In 2013, I rebranded my career as a Christian Hip-Hop artist. I’ve released 3 studio albums and my music is being streamed in 110 countries.

Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?

Receiving messages of how my music inspired someone never gets old. I’ve received messages from ex-atheists saying how they’ve found God because of one of my songs. Believers who were once suicidal found hope to live again because of my music. The very thought humbles me and I can only give the glory to God.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Remember why you started. Do some soul-searching. Rediscover what makes you YOU, and be that version of yourself.

None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Rest in peace, my buddy, Mark. He believed in me like no other. He was present during my very first rap battle and his words and sense of encouragement still live on with me to this day.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I’ve heard it said once, “You don’t have to be famous to be unforgettable.” We can inspire others right where we are. I like to believe that I’ve brought goodness into this world by sharing the love of Christ and giving people messages of hope for a brighter day.

Do you have a favorite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Nelson Mandela once said, “I never lose. I either win or I learn.” Losing is not final; it represents the opportunity to try again with more knowledge than you had last time.

Anything specific you’d like to have mentioned in the article?

Be who God created you to be. Don’t try to imitate anyone else. The world’s acceptance pales in comparison to God’s acceptance of you. He created you unique so don’t be afraid to stand out. Individuality is your superpower.
