Interview with Yash Tiwari (@iamyt.4321)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

i am an app developer, but i went a lot more into music when people started loving my voice in college concerts etc in India. Then i started performing live in small concerts and fillers. then i moved to the US and here i learnt about publicizing through platforms. so i’ve become a verified artist on all platforms (Apple Music, Amazon Prime Music, Spotify, deezer, Youtube, Iheartradio etc.) i started with making bollywood songs unplugged covers and now i am onto my original composition journey. also i’m the Mr. Fresher 2020 for University of Dayton.

Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?

Getting global with my music through these music platforms worldwide was the mist amazing experience. i’m the only artist with the name “Yash Tiwari” on all platforms

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

take it slow, i myself have been trying to reach my voice to people for 5-6 years. it’ll take time to get noticed. be patient and do the best with yourself.

None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My mother, My brother “Ayush”, My Friend “Himanshu Katara” and my really good critic “Safiya Savliwala”. when my mother always loved my voice and believed one day people will love my voice and i’ll be known for my singing, Himanshu Katara has helped me with music production to compose my original songs, and Safiya Savliwala who always reviewed my songs and told me where and what i need to improvised. actually to create unplugged covers was originally her Idea.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I’m always ready for new and aspiring singers who wanna join me and i could help them to reach the people.

Do you have a favorite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

I’m a huge fan of Shahrukh Khan, So i’ve learnt “Success is not a great teacher, Failure makes you humble”. that has acted at a major level in my life, as i had tried everything.. i approached people to listen to my voice.. but they never took it seriously.. so i failed many times in life.. but that has taught me to be patient and keep smiling in life and keep doing the good work.
