Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
“I’ve dedicated my career to the entertainment industry since I was 17 years old, starting as an actor,” said Windi Washington. “But I fell in love working behind the scenes, establishing a very extensive resume that isn’t publicized as it should be — managing talent, celebrities, and brands. I never was the type of person that was the loudest in the room, I was just the person that cared about getting the work done, and proudly.” Washington has since recently landed roles in a number of television series in 2021, including American Gangster: Trap Queens (BET+), and Trace (VIM). She has also landed roles in feature films slated for release dates for winter 2021 and 2022, to be announced.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
I got fame and I am being loved by everyone around the globe. I am in love with this thing.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Just be yourself. Be honest with the people in the industry.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I would love to say thanks to my parents- who supported me through my thick and thin. They always have a strong belief in me.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I always try to motivate people via my success stories. You can achieve everything if you do it with passion.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Success never comes in one day, one night, or one month. It takes time to achieve something big. Have patience, and conquer the world.”
