Interview with Willy Calderon
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Music awakens my soul like nothing else. It is something that I have been doing since a very young age and I am determined to do this till very old age. My whole life, since infancy, is about my journey towards becoming a musician.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Never compare yourself to other people. Always push forward to achieve your dreams but while doing always see if you can help anyone else achieve their dreams as well. In the end, it will all work out if you won’t stop pursuing it.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My mother Jeanine Rosales pushed me since a very young age to learn music professionally. Coming from a family of musicians was also in my favor to reach where I am today, but it is mostly my mother for helping me in fulfilling my dreams.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I know that it is easy to find a name that is distinctive in the musical industry. My label “The Master Plan” sign up contracts with many upcoming artists to help them find their voice and place in the industry because it is very easy to get lost.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
John Holmes once said very beautifully that, “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” I try to abide by this rule every day.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
