Interview with Ufuk Ekici (@uffeii)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
My love for music has been a part of me since a very young age. Before I began producing and performing my own music, I used to be a reggaeton DJ. It was during that time that I decided that I did not just want to play other peoples’ music to make the crowd happy, I wanted to make my own music that would reach the masses. That’s where everything changed.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
I think the most important advice for anyone who wants to avoid getting burnt out is to always remember why you’re doing what you’re doing. Usually, our dreams and passion are what keep us going.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I have the fortune to have a wonderful support system at my back the entire time. From family to friends, I have been blessed in terms of support.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
My duty to the world is to give them something that was taken away from them way before they could learn to appreciate it. I will use my power and position to bring happiness to the world in the form of a beautiful music genre.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
I strongly believe that “music is life itself.” Music gives life to words and melodies and music is what allows us to flexibly express ourselves. If there is one thing in life that has always managed to motivate me, its music.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
I have an Instagram account by the name @uffeii and a YouTube channel with the same name where I upload my music.
