Interview with TF Steez (@tfsteez)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
As far as I look back, I remember music being my crutch. Sometimes, music was my only friend because there was this unconditional acceptance from both ends. I knew I could express myself and use music as a medium with no criticism and that’s what ended up bringing me here: the freedom of expression.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
My only tip is to be yourself. There’s millions of people out there making music, so you have to bring something to the table that no one else is. Aside from that, enjoy it. Make music for the people supporting you and taking inspiration from you, because they will be your driving force.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Before anyone else, I’m grateful to music. Music stood with me and taught me to appreciate life and view the beauty around me with a different outlook. At the end of it all, music, friends, family and my company are who I’m thankful to.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
By hopefully inspiring people and by sharing my love with the world. People who support me and have kept up with me know that the ultimate goal is to encourage everyone to be themselves and be content. If my music can do that for people, then it’s mission accomplished.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Louis Armstrong said that Music is life itself. When I first read that, and when I read it every other time, it reminded me to look at the world around me with appreciation. When I started expressing myself with music, the world around me became a better and more beautiful place and I wish for everyone to experience that.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
