Interview with Starrlashea
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I have been dancing since the age of two years old. I love to exhibit my feelings and thoughts through my moves. Also I am classically trained in Jazz, Tap, Pre-Ballet, Hip-Hop, Tumbling and Lyrical Acrobatics, and I believe you should do what you love to do.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
You all should do these things you love but one should never compromise on his or her education. These both things can be taken all along for your career path. Believe in yourself and make the best out of every opportunity.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My family and friends have been very supportive throughout my life and they are my support system plus the students of my studio have special place in my heart.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Starr’s Studio of Dance is the best example of my success and what I want to give this world. All the things I am good at I want to deliver it to the students of mine and I think so it’s the best thing I can do.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Dance is the hidden language of the soul.
So it’s the best way to explore yourself as well as to express yourself to the world. Your moves could say it all, you don’t have to say anything and it’s the best part of dance.
