Interview With Scott Harris (

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
My mum went to the very first Tony Robbins personal development event in Australia more than 20 years ago. I was in food retail & franchising – and thought my mum had gone crazy mad. So I went to the 2nd Tony Robbins event in Australia 12 months later – just for a look – and the rest is history. I’ve now been teaching on stage with Tony for the last 15 years and we are partners in business & changing lives.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
The people I have met. From all walks of life. From all over the world. The amazing beautiful souls that are wanting to change their lives, get better, create more wealth, and do more good. I am always amazed at how many extraordinary people there are in the world!
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
When I was an elite Ironman Triathlete my coach would always say…”Make the hard hard, and the easy easy. And never confuse the two!” I think that still stands true today. There are times to push & challenge yourself, and times to kick back and relax. Knowing the difference is the whole key to success!
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I gotta share three. Tony Robbins without doubt has been the biggest influence on my professional career. His wisdom and coaching coupled with his enormous heart have served me so well. I am blessed to be in partnership with him serving onstage at all his events worldwide. My mum, who really got me started on this journey, is simply the most amazing woman I could possibly wish for as a mum. She wasn’t a ‘come to school sports day & watch’ kind of mum; nor was she baking cookies for the school fair. But she has a mindset and a work ethic that are out of this world. Last, and most important, is my wife Corina. Without a doubt, she is the single best person I ever met. Kindest. Smartest. Sweetest. Best problem solver. Wisest. Best mum ever. Wife too. Almost 20 years together and she is absolutely the reason I get up each day!
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
By striving to be the best husband I can be. By serving to be the best father to my 4 children I can be. By serving to be the best friend/uncle/godfather I can be. By continually challenging myself to get better at teaching and coaching every day. Most importantly, by living my VALUES, which is the very core of my business.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Live Deliberately. That’s it. Life goes fast. There is no time to waste. There is no second time over (although there are second chances). A life Lived Deliberately focused on your key VALUES will almost certainly guarantee success and happiness.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
IG and FB; my email list. Podcast coming soon!
Anything specific you’d like to have mentioned in the article?
Having been in personal development for over 25 years my highest passion is living congruently with what I’m being taught. I am not the smartest person you will ever meet – but I can learn some things from some extraordinary teachers, and then I can apply those principles and create an amazing quality of life. Then I can teach others how I did that!
