Interview with Sarah Dishong (@_karunasatoriasmr)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I had not always planned to be an ASMRtist. I suffered tough days in my teenage and was successful in overcoming my drug addiction. With the passage of time, I realized my hidden talent of soothing people through the art of ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). Thus, I tried my luck and opened my own YouTube channel and the love and response I got from my audience had been impeccable to this date.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Life is too short to worry or cry about failures. Just keep moving melodiously in your passion and success would lie beneath your steps before you would know.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Yes, a million times, the love of my parents, the support of my husband and the faith of my children in their mother. I would like to thank my family, my supportive friend circle, my life, my heart, and everything God has blessed me with today.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I love to utilize my talent in the most benevolent way possible. I like to cheer people up in their depressed and isolated times. I like to assist them in fighting their disability and diseases. Overall, I love to serve humanity. It makes me happy.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Worrying is like paying a debt you don’t owe” -Mark Twain

I believe life is too short to worry about petty little things and feel low about yourself. Human beings have the ability to create happiness from within. It’s all in your mind all you have to do is trust yourself and let lose yourself in the process. You aren’t responsible to make everything occur or stop.
