Interview with Robert Daspit
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I’ve always had an interest when it came to traveling and cars with my top being Mercedes Fleet, Cadillac Escalade, and Range Rover LWB so I decided why not mix my interest with business, and hence LCS was born.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
My interesting story was being interviewed for the number one trade publication magazine for the luxury transportation industry, with names like Nina Parson, director of sales for Company Car and Limousine in Cleveland, Ohio, and Erik Malone, owner of Erik Malone Transport Inc. in Chicago, etc.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
I recommend them to never give up without a fight because you never know what opportunities hide behind when you give up on something you’re passionate about.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I would definitely have to give credit to my wife who stood by me every step of the way and gave me hope when I was down. Secondly, my kids are my greatest motivation to work even harder in life to give them the life I never had for myself.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I try to do whatever I can to bring goodness to the world because the world sure could use some. I try to support small and local artists who have the talent but not the finances to bring their dreams to fruition.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
A quote I resonate with is by Leo Tolstoy who says “The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.”
