Interview with Richard Bankowski

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I have always been fascinated by the thought of advanced technologies in the field of aesthetic medicine and travelling the world while teaching and making people from around the globe aware of the various innovative technologies. This has brought me towards my career path.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

The more you travel, the more you explore, the more you study and interact with people is the way you will get the most knowledge about how things work in various parts of the world. This not only helps in research but awareness of one’s culture, norms and technologies as well.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My family, My friends, My teachers and my colleagues, every person around me has helped me and motivated me to be where I am now! I can’t be thankful enough to the people in my life for always being there for me whenever I needed them.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Yes, indeed. I have been very active on my social media accounts and whenever I get a chance, I spread positivity around by sharing motivational quotes on social media or by interacting with people from various cultures while travelling.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”   — Anthony Bourdain.

This quote inspires me because indeed I have faced many challenges during travelling around the world but in the end there is a lot that I personally have learned from my experiences and there is a lot that I have shared with the people I have met during those travels.
