Interview with Reza Dehshid (@dehshidandco)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I was always good with numbers as a child. As I started to grow, I began gaining interest towards managing money and multiplying it into more. This eventually led me to this career where I started small and now we are well known and growing gradually.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

So my advice to my colleagues in the same industry is to first of all gain knowledge on all aspects of accounts and finance. Our markets keep changing so you need to stay up to date with whatever is going on in the market, this involves a lot of research. Secondly, you are guiding people towards how to use their money so be sure whatever you are offering guarantees them success and benefits them.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I am particularly thankful to my family. They made sure that I got the best quality of education and all the facilities that I required. My family has supported me throughout my journey in this industry and I am very grateful to them. Also, my community has been very supportive, they trust me and respect me which has helped me gain success.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Passing on knowledge to someone else is one of the best things one can do. This is exactly what I do. I use the knowledge I have related to this field and help individuals and organizations to make the best decisions for them.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Life is inherently risky. There is only one big risk you should avoid at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing”. Just like life money is also risky. In life, if you sit and do nothing you will not progress. Similarly, if you just keep money ad do not do anything with it, it will end up losing value. So both in life and your money invest it in things that will bring you happiness and success.
