Quentin Brown

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I did not like anyone to see me as a weak person who must rely on other people for my survival. On the contrary, I wanted to be a self-sufficient person who people view as a successful person in life. When I finally achieved that, I realized how important it is to lend a helping hand to other people who struggle with the same bit as I once did.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

At the start of my journey, I went through some callous times, but believing in myself made it tremendously worthwhile to bounce back. Finally, I found the right people to share my vision with at the right time, and since then, it has been only about moving up.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I would first and foremost advise everyone not to take failure as a sign of giving up. On the contrary, it is vital to believe that no matter what you’re going through, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

While growing up, not having a mentor was tough, but eventually, I found my heroes who helped me grow and become a better man. I personally look up to Jay-Z, LeBron James, and Grant Cardone because of their intelligence and strength.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

My main goal in life is to give back to the community by helping them gain financial knowledge and guiding them through my company, Empowered Dynasty Group, in changing their financial situation.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

A phrase I always use when I’m going to help someone is: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world straight in the eye. What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.”
