Interview with [email protected] Schmitz
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I am a very hardworking individual that is dedicated to everything I put my mind to. If I say I am going to do something I will do it. Football is my passion. I am a Quarterback and I strive to be the best I can be. I want to go to college to get a degree as a Sports Broadcaster but ultimately would like to play in the NFL. However, I will have my degree as my backup plan if something does not work out.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
Since becoming a Quarterback I have competed hard in everything that I do to get better. I have gotten better and better every year. In one of my games in Fall of 2021 I threw for 4 Touchdowns and ran in 2 Touchdowns of my own. It was an amazing game and we won 48-0. I strive to work hard in every game but also make sure that everyone who plays on my team and the opposing team know they did a great job.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
You have to work hard but you also have to be humble at the same time playing sports. In this sport you condition hard, practice hard and play games hard. The ultimate goal is to win but also let others know that they are just as important and special. You are only one player and need a team to win. Work as hard as possible to be the best but recognize others hardworking and ambition.
None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My very first football coach who gave me a shot at becoming a Quarterback. Coach Danny allowed me to try Quarterback and then took me under his wing and taught me everything I know. He let’s me know I play hard and I am good at what I do but I can always be better. There is always someone better than you so go out and work extremely hard at what you want to do.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I know that I am a role model to younger players and kids even if they don’t Plat a sport. I make sure that I show them I am a good person, I love everyone and everyone is important in this world. Nobody is better than anyone else. We all have a role to play and no matter what we each believe and value we are all human beings.
Do you have a favourite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“There is always someone better off than you, and there is always someone worse off than you.”
When I go to different camps I am not the best. There are others that can do things better than me but I go out and give the best I can all the time. I give 110% in everything I do.
I know there are individuals worse off then I am so I am grateful for what I have but one day I want to help others that have less than I do.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
I am on different social media platforms. You can follow me on Instagram and Twitter @parkerschmitz09
Anything specific you’d like to have mentioned in the article?
I want people to know that I am not any batter than everyone else. I have dreams and goals I want to achieve but I also want to help others and one day when I have the ability to do that I will.
