Interview with Owner of Kuwaiti Lab (@q8ylab)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I have been creative and dexterous since I was young, and my interest in making things you think of a reality, physical objects that you can see and hold lead me to this career path. It is indeed a gratifying career that also gets you acknowledgment and appreciation since it is something not everyone can do.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Keep challenging yourself to try new things, experiment with new materials, make designs you otherwise thought were too ambitious because you’ll never know your potential unless you try!

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

All my clients who have trusted me with their orders and commissions, buyers, anyone who has ever given me words of encouragement, I am grateful for them all.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Anyone who likes beautiful pieces of art knows the happiness of ordering or buying something and being immensely happy when it fulfills its function. I have been able to provide that happiness through my work to people and I think meeting the demands of people and giving them something that is worth their money is gratifying.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“In crafting there are no mistakes, only unique creations.” For all crafters, knowing that everything is unique and a piece of art in itself is important so you always know the value of your work and your capacity for growth.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

They can follow me on most social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube, or search up my website www.q8ylab.com to see more of my work!
