Interview With Nett Solution PPC

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I had dinner with one of the founders of Yahoo, Jerry Yang, and he was discussing with me the issues Yahoo was having at the time, getting business owners to market using Pay Per Click marketing. This was 2002.

Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

We began marketing for a small, local boutique interior design firm. They doubted that the high-end clients they sought would use Facebook, Instagram, or Google to find interior designers. Lo and behold, in the first six months, they landed over 20 new clients for projects whose design fees alone exceeded the revenue brought in by the firm over the previous two years.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

You need to embrace change and not fight it. Also, take a moment and enjoy your team’s success. It’s amazing what great things we can accomplish for our clients, but sometimes we get too caught up in putting out fires and not enough time enjoying our successes.

None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I have a friend, Alan Banks, and back about 20-25 years ago, I was going through a bit of a difficult time after selling my previous business and getting a divorce. I was not sure what I wanted to do or if I would be as successful at a new career as I had been in my previous job. He believed in me and kept telling me that he knew I would do great things and build a new firm that was bigger and even more successful. He was right.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

We donate a portion of our revenue to various local charities every year. We also give our services to some nonprofits to help them raise money or awareness via the internet.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“I’ve never fooled anyone I’ve let people fool themselves They didn’t bother to find out who and what I was Instead they would invent a character for me I wouldn’t argue with them They were obviously loving somebody I wasn’t.” ― Marilyn Monroe.

How can our readers follow you on social media?
