Interview with Nar Mar (@cali._.dreaming)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I don’t think anyone is unaware of the immense hate and intolerance in the world today. With that having bled into social media and the safe spaces people had, I wanted to take my advocacy to the virtual realms and help make people aware of these things.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Stay firm in your beliefs but also be open to listening to the sides of other people. Be tolerant and respectful while also having the skill to get your points and thoughts across without being offensive.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I’m always thankful to everyone around me. Everyone you ever meet in your life and exchange even 2 words with, can teach you something. So aside from my family and my followers, I am thankful and grateful to everyone who has ever given me the gift of knowledge and has been kind enough to share.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Advocating for freedom of speech and happiness and liberty using my platform has been my biggest contribution to the goodness in the world.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“It only takes one voice, at the right pitch, to start an avalanche.” – Dianna Hardy.
This quote resonates with me because it proves to be true in within all forms of advocacy. You do not need a crowd or a group to get your point across, just the courage to use your voice the right way.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
