Interview with Mustafa (@mustafacegaag)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I’m a tax preparer, and most of my community do not speak English, so I try the tax process more accessible using my bilingual resource. That is why I wanted this to be verified so I can help my community more and get more clients for my business. My business is recently verified; I sent them all the required paperwork for Business registration.

Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I always see some of my community that appreciate that I’m making the whole tax return process easier for them to understand

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Answer the question. That we think people needed especially this is uncertain of our life

None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person whom you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I sure most of my credits to my wife and four kids who are always there for me as I am for them, so I’m most grateful for my friends and family.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

As a former traffic control officer with the Minneapolis airport police department, I was there if anyone needed an interpreter or translator.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Be kind to people. “Remember that you must die.” The phrase has its origins in ancient Rome. It is believed that enslaved people paying generals on victory parades whispered the words as a reminder of their commander’s mortality to prevent them from being consumed by hubris (excessive pride and self-confidence).

How can our readers follow you on social media?

I am open to it so that they can follow me on @mustafacegaag.

Anything specific you’d like to have mentioned in the article?

Tax and bilingual.
