Interview with Mondo (@mondo_official)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

One of the things I loved making since a young age was Electronic music. I loved dancing, and I loved listening to it all the time. After a while I bought all the technical gadgets, and became a DJ. It was a struggle at first, but now I am considered one of the best emerging Techno artists in the world!

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

My advice would be to have more realistic goals in your life. Always keep your expectations aligned with the reality in front of you. As an artist, I am aware of how much abundance of effort is required to reach a recognizable position in the music world. Thus, it is good to always work hard, take breaks and expect results one day at a time, not all at once.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Success is a progress, and it takes time to reach to the top. My family, friends and colleagues have always been an asset to my work. They inspire me to do better and produce good music every time, and act as a motivating factor in my life.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I love the concept of a community where all the artists are good to each other and work on helping each other in any way possible. I do my best to promote other artists with brilliant music and endorse them on my pages. Thus, in this way, I get promoted too and the natural structure of harmony among artists is maintained. I believe the best way to conduct yourself in the music industry is to always be there for other struggling artists because they will stick by your side as well.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Don’t be a prisoner of your own style!”

This quote represents what a true creator is all about; creating and innovation. One of the biggest struggles I faced was continuing to make Techno music, until I realized I loved mixing music beat more! Now, I am always on the move to invent new beats and discover new ways to make electronic music. There is so much opportunity with music, the greatest mistake of an artist would be to not expand their horizons and learn and make more types of music, and only stick to one style.
