I am a songwriter who has been writing and working with names in nashville. I have wanted to do this my whole life and have been!
Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?
Most interesting things have been sharing stages with people like Dierks Bentley because of songs I’ve written. Never would I have thought he would know who I was and we got to drink a beer In front of 30 thousand people together!.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
I think it’s best not to keep up with fads and fashion because by the time you become up to fashion it will be out of fashion.
None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
All my heroes are the reason I wanted to move to nashville guys like Jon Bon Jovi and dierks Bentley. There is one local singer songwriter in nashville named Chris hill who is a huge part of my nashville life. I met him before I moved here and he told me if I wanted to move there to reach out when I did. He gave me advice about writing In nashville and playing in nashville. He introduced to me all the people I consider my best friends now and I wouldn’t be here without him.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Try and play writers rounds for charity and donate to st Jude!
Do you have a favourite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
