Interview with Maher Alkhawndi

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I was very young when I realised that my ultimate dream was to become an innovator. It took me longer to realise what type of innovator I wanted to become. I would read a lot of life stories of famous legends in the field of technology. I was really inspired by their contributions to the industry and also what made them the way that they could invent all of that. I still would say I am greatly inspired by them.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

This is a field where burn out is so common that it would be even considered as inevitable. Because of the amount of creativity and effort required, I would often feel this way too. However, I have learnt that relaxing every now and then does wonder for a person. Whenever I head back to work after a break, I feel more refreshed and ready to work than I would have been otherwise.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I would always be grateful to my friends and family who have always supported me at every turn of my life and career. If it weren’t for them, I don’t think I would have been able to be at this stage of life that I currently am at.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I try to help others as much as I can with the knowledge and skills that I have accumulated through my studies and work experience. I do my best to make sure that my clients have the best online marketing solutions at their disposal. I understand that the current times of the world have been very painful to businesses. So, I try my best to make sure that I help those businesses to recover and then thrive.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

It’s simple but my favourite quote has to be to “never give up.” I like it because it acknowledges that failures will come but also gives the hope that success is on the way if you just put in some more effort.
