Interview with Luigi Marco Grosu
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I began my career in entertainment as an actor at a very young age. In a very short span of time, I became a child model. Alongside my acting career, I started pursuing singing. Pretty soon my interest shifted from acting to music, and eventually I had very little time left to pursue a career in acting. Singing and songwriting allows me to be more expressive about my feelings and experiences. I can share my life with people through my music.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
I believe life can be very fast paced for people belonging to the industry. It is important that you take time off social media, and be present within yourself. Sometimes staying away from crowds and being on your own for a while can freshen up your mind and give you a brand new perspective on your life and career. Being close to nature is what I enjoy most, and use that as my escape.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I had my parents’ support very early on in my career, which helped shape me into who I am today. They facilitated me in every way possible. They provided me with multiple opportunities to attend numerous acting academies and encouraged me into polishing my acting skills.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I create music to inspire young artists into believing in themselves and in their talents. Persistence and hard work can help a person overcome every obstacle.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
In the industry, you encounter a lot of people who radiate negativity. I have faced a lot of criticism and lousy comments from people. Instead of their negative energy draining me down, I use that as motivation to rise higher.
