Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I’ve been in the social media space since 2012 making gaming videos on YouTube up until earlier this year, I grew a pretty broad following on YouTube but wanted to try something other than gaming. I bought some camera equipment and starting dabbling heavier into instagram and TikTok filming motorcycle and automotive content and skits, which blew me up even more on those platforms. It is what I enjoy doing the most right now.
Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?
Because of my cinematography work I’ve got to work with many celebrities and businesses. I love meeting new people and making connections. Every time I collaborate on a project and post it, I get great joy and pleasure.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
I would say pacing yourself and taking breaks is very important. Unless you made a commitment or have a sponsorship, if you do not feel like making content that day(s), just don’t. My best content is made when I have a fire and desire to go out and create some media.
None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I’ve worked with very many creators, influencers, and businesses; though I would say Ducati Newport Beach has been an amazing help and connect in my process. They are always welcoming and understanding of anything and everything I may need from them whether it is for personal needs or content based.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I’ve been fortunate enough to say that I have inspired a lot of people to get into motorcycles and/or video creating. I frequently get comments and messages about new creators and riders getting into the space and saying that I was a big influence on them doing so.
Do you have a favorite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Treat People The Way You Want To Be Treated”. As cliche as it is, it is very true especially in my industry. I depend a lot on making connections and growing as broad of a viewer base as possible. I’ve always been thoughtful and appreciative of everyone; whether it is good or bad, they all helped shaped my story.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
My social media is “@watchlionel” across all boards. From Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok!
Anything specific you’d like to have mentioned in the article?
“It’s Lionel’s world, you’re just watching it.” Remember that the world is your oyster. Whatever you set your mind to, you can achieve with the proper work.
