Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I make music, so I figured getting a TikTok was a must-have. I enjoy the community and the people on TikTok, and I’ve made it somewhat of a hobby.
Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
The craziest thing was seeing some famous and verified people like and comment on my videos. It helped build my confidence and inspired me to make more videos like those.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
It only takes one video to blow up on TikTok. It’s tough to keep going when your videos don’t get the views and likes you want. aBut if you keep at it and post every day, your channel will eventually reach the audience you want it to. Just keep up the grind.
None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person whom you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My friends defiantly helped me get to where I’m at. I’ve been told since I was young that I looked and seemed like someone that could make it on social media. They always pushed me to grind for it, and without their push and confidence, I wouldn’t have put in as much effort to get where I’m today.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I have a lot of young fans who look up to me, and it’s important to me to always message them back when they ask for my advice or opinions. I feel like using my platform to boost others up is a priority.
Do you have a favourite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Life is too short” it is; you could die today. I feel that you should take every opportunity you can go in life to better your standing. Don’t be afraid to take risks because, without risks, there are no rewards.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
You can follow me on Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok @KyYodie, and you can follow my Facebook page @FD KyYodie.
Anything specific you’d like to have mentioned in the article?
Kodi is an artist/producer/influencer out of South Dakota.
