Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I am a globally-recognized fitness instructor with an app on iOS and Android platforms. My goal is to make fitness accessible and fun!
Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
In 2021, I began contributing to Women’s Health Magazine. I am a trainer for the publication, an editorial contributor, and most recently featured in the April 2022 issue as the trainer of the month.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Stay curious to maintain your creativity. Make your work fun – with drive and a dream, anything is possible.
None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful for who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Absolutely. Amanda Lucci and Liz Plosser from Women’s Health have been my mentors throughout this process. They have encouraged me to try new styles, to get in front of more significant audiences, and pushed me to take on new roles within the industry. Without them, I don’t know if I would have had the courage to teach events like national buddy day, the New Year’s Day lives workout class on their platform, or begins to work with their editorial team. I contribute much of my success and focus to their constant support.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I hope that everyone who takes a class with me knows I am here to support them and as an accountability partner. I bring workout programs and classes onto our platform to help men and women feel more robust, confident and empowered. I also aim to keep it accessible at a price point people are comfortable with. I want to make fitness a part of people’s everyday life!
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Never Say Never. If you know you can do what you love don’t give. ” When I was younger, I had a heart condition. I was unable to participate in many physical activities, especially running. Now that I am healthy, I take that when I work out. I know that there was a time when I was unable, where it was unsafe for me to exercise without risking a life-threatening episode. Because of that, I take none of it for granted, and I encourage my participants to sweat with a smile. It is a gift that we GET to do what we do!
