Interview with Kevin Dice-Glider (_dicetheninja)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Being a Brooklyn performer I wanted to get into a style of dance that resonated with the history and I came across the Bruk Up style of dancing. It was love at first sight and the more I danced the more I became attached to the style and have never left it since.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Never forget the legacy of Bruk Up and continue to follow on its path. You will never be disappointed if you stay true to it.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My girl is my number one supporter and has helped me through thick and thin and she is the reason why I can stand here today proudly.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I do the best I can to help people be happy. Happiness is taken for granted in this world and I try my best to make them smile with my performances.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“The good thing about hitting rock bottom is that theirs one way to go, and that is up” – Tebogo Sweotz.
It is true that whenever you feel like you failed or hit rock bottom, do not give up and do the best that you can.
