Interview with Jae Fraser (@littlescholarsearlylearning)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I was working as a daycare trainee and I realized that the sense of accomplishment I felt when helping out children where they see me as a superhero, that feeling I will not get from anywhere else so because of that I became a teacher and work towards the children of our future.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Do what you do with dedication and with pure intentions and you will see the fruits of your labor and trust me, it is the most satisfying feeling in the world.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My team at the Little Scholar schools have helped me and this institute grow and be where we are today and I cannot be more grateful to them.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I try to do good with every action I take and I feel making healthy minds out of these children is the most important task anyone could ever do.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“To take children seriously is to value them for who they are right now rather than adults-in-the-making.” — Alfie Kohn
This is true, children are beautiful inside out, they are innocent souls who should be nurtured to be the best that they can be and I try to do that every day I am at work.
