Interview with Internet Fabric (@internetfabric)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

My partner/designer has had a strong backing in the fashion industry and I felt it was time for him to spread his wings and create a brand of his own based on his creativity. I came in as financial backing and support to what I knew was unseen talent that was unique to the fashion industry and what our generation loved, uniqueness and originality.

Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?

We’ve been happy to find real fulfillment in work; in doing something we love in our own direction, not someone elses. Having the chance to be as creative as we want and get the reception from our growing group of followers has been more than gratifying.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Set measurable goals, be organized, and schedule regular meetings to track progress and accomplishments. Be open to everyones ideas as an aspect to grow from. And most importantly, delegate so everyone can help.

None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story? *

We are all grateful for each other in our team of 3. We wouldnt have gotten anything started with out any one of us in one way or another. Our first meeting as a group took place in front of a dim sum restaurant in irvine with ideas. In less than 6 months later, we had our first line of apparel drop and it was an instant hit. We always go back to that night in Irvine when we were thinking of ideas like certain fonts or types of clothes and how that manifestation brought it to fruition.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world? *

We aim to bring more apparel drops that outline social issues that may be unspoken as a form of support. Our 2nd line focused on mental health and to not struggle in silence. It spoke to a lot of individuals and we were so grateful that we can bring some sign of peace and direction to those who needed it. We want to keep that going to make the world a better place and have unique outfits they can feel confident in with a message that relates to them.

Do you have a favourite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. I do my best to always follow this motive and remind myself that if I want to do good for myself and for others, its not a one deal type of action, its a habit to the point where it comes natural. That goes  from doing the smallest of things like being neat or organized or as big as being mentally strong, positive and respectful person.
