Interview with Illustrations by Reema @llbyreema
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Much inspired from the stories my Grandma use to tell me when I was a little kid. This motivated me to do my own work on it.
Can you share the most interest in what exciting happened to you since you started doing this?
People adore my drawings because they have a beautiful touch of culture and modernism, and they are current these days. They’re both entertaining and exciting. Every piece of art is unique and features a series of captivating events which are well-liked by my fans which is very exciting for me.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
Consistency is really important. Sometimes things don’t work out as we want them to be, at times for very long stretches. It’s really important to remind yourself at this point, as to why you began the journey in the first place.
None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful for who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I was influenced by my grandmother, who was a storyteller. The women in my paintings are inspired by her grandmother, her daughter, and female empowerment.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I don’t consider myself successful yet but I am economically blessed and I help anyway I can to causes I believe in.
Do you have a favorite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Money comes and goes but time only goes” this is my favorite quote. It describes the beauty not only in money but in life.
