Interview with FMG (@ fmg_management)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I have always found a certain satisfaction in music management and knew I wanted to make a platform for musicians. I believe my skills are well-suited to this field because I’ve been doing this for years, and now I have great experience in it. I care about helping people and making an impact, and this career allows me to do that as I’ve signed two artists for music.
Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
Have been shouted out by multiple people in the music industry. I can not even forget the view and situation that arise there.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
Never give up. Don’t chase the quick short term money, be patient and look at long term relationships. Work hard and never give up because your destination is just right here. You have done a lot already; ow ha;o do some more to stand at your goal in life.
None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Yea, you are correct that none of us can achieve everything without the help and support of others. This is the same in my situation, too, as I have a parent, friend, or family member who encouraged me to get into it, and I found that I like it a lot. My Artist @yb_stackz we started from scratch, and now he’s had over 200k streams independently.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Yes, I’ve helped multiple independent artists. I bring goodness to this planet by encouraging people of all regions, cultures, and races to recognize our shared humanity. I do this by educating others about music and ways to use more color in their life to change their mood. If you have that first sale or find yourself unemployed — I encourage you to volunteer for a cause, donate and decide to connect to the collective human spirit. We are generous creatures, so my success is your success, and your success is my success. This is why we share our stories and use our success for good because it adds to our shared humanity. My work and my success are a source of goodness for the hard workers.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
You get out what you put in!! “Nothing great comes fast; take your time and invest in yourself and never give up.” Remember that you must die. The phrase has its origins in ancient Rome. It is believed that enslaved people paying generals on victory parades whispered the words as a reminder of their commander’s mortality to prevent them from being consumed by hubris (excessive pride and self-confidence).
