Interview with Chip Kennedy
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Thank you for having me! I was always really fascinated by photography ever since I was a young boy, and life just so happened to take me through a wild ride where I was fortunate enough to work with fashion photographers. That truly elevated me to a new mindset where I decided that I would be a storyteller through my photography.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
I would say that no matter what happens, no matter how hard or stressful life gets, never lose your charm. Be true to yourself and trust me, that will help you achieve greatness in life. If you know what you’re made of, don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise – you are your biggest strength.
None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I don’t think I can narrow it down to just one person – but with that being said, I think my grandmother truly helped me find my inner passion. She helped me understand my purpose and to always keep my head held high. Of course, my friends, family, and colleagues are precious to me as well, so I owe it all to them.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I think visuals are so important for the soul. In my opinion, the best way to illustrate anything is through visual media, which is why I love photography so much. It opens a window for the audience to see my perspective – to see how I see the world. I aim to spread positivity and fashion to the people around me, and I believe I’m slowly but surely doing that through my talent.
Do you have a favourite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
I absolutely love quotes that make me feel inspired and motivated – I mean, my Instagram is just filled with them! To narrow it down to just one, I’d go for “The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” This quote resonates with me because it closely aligns with my outlook on life.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
The readers can follow my journey on my Instagram, which is @chipkennedy. See you all there!
