Interview with Chioma Nwogu (@beautiifulchii)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Dance is just something I’ve always felt very passionate about doing. I can express my thoughts and feelings and share them with others through it. I love performing for the crowds in festivals, their energy fuels me and gets me super excited to perform.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Create a support system, have people who you can rely on. Their support and love are what will get you through the tough times.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My daughter is my backbone, she keeps me going. It makes me very emotional and happy when I see her sharing my passion for dancing and performance. There’s no better feeling in the world than being a source of inspiration for her.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I’m an incredibly positive and happy go lucky person, always wanting people to feel comfortable and happy and smiling. I love when I can make people feel that way through my dancing.
Do you have a favourite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Do what you love, find something that you’re passionate about and give it your best. Never be afraid to learn, we all need to learn to grow so never forget that.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
