Interview with Chef Yash (@chefyashyyc

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Please find the attached link of a newspaper article about me.

Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?

Back in 2020 during the pandemic i took the biggest risk of my life while chasing a dream of opening my restaurant. People laughed at me calling it a mistake but I went all in with every single penny i have saved believing that my God is holding my hand and taking me in the right direction. My love for Italian cuisine started from the day I stepped into my first job and realized the only place that excites me and I belong to is Kitchen. One of the chef who taught me cooking once said you don’t cook from your hands and pointed finger towards his heart- you cook from here and it will be delicious. Since then i put my heart and soul in every dish i cook. This might sound crazy but while cooking i do talk to the food. Life is too short to live with regrets and I believed in my vision and nothing was possible without my team and support of people who believed in us. Here’s to 2022 with no fear our second location ofYYC PASTA BAR in Kensington.
A fair year of hard work, in which together will reshape the future, never stop developing and dreaming. Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Run behind your passion, money will follow

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world? *
