Interview with Chantelle (@misschants00)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I’ve been working towards this for a while with my acting & modelling work. I have studied acting and recently taken part on a couple of projects both set for the festival circuits. I also co-wrote a couple of episodes of the web series Triple Threat which I starred in as well. Recently I have been approached by some modelling agencies as well and been chosen to take part in the Ms Great Britain contest!
Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?
Well I’d go for two things, firstly I think being chosen as a Ms Great Britain finalists is incredible. I used to watch those growing up and now I’ll be taking part in it is so mad and exciting at the same time! The other one was about 4 years ago now when Joan Collins said nice dress to me at the Baftas haha!
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
“Determination and dedication! Don’t expect things to just happen right away, keep plugging away and working hard at what you love. I reckon I went on about 30 plus auditions before I booked my first role. Don’t be afraid to create your own work either, that’s what I’ve been planning as well & started at looking up setting up a production company myself.
Don’t be afraid to fail first, success takes time 🙂 “
None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My mum 100000% without her support along the way I would never have the ability to get where I am now. Her support and love along the way has been so important to help me grow. I’d also like to mention Ashley, a life coach I used just over a year ago who gave me that momentum to push myself further towards my goals!
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Through my Ms Great Britain I have started to work with the cancer research charity and Alex’s Wish who they partner with. It’s made me realise how much good I can do with my platforms to help raise awareness to these great causes and people behind them as well.
Do you have a favourite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Don’t worry about the past, you’re not going that way.
.How can our readers follow you on social media?
“I am very active on Instagram especially over my stories but I also use twitter and more recently youtube with the same handle @misschants00 I’ll soon be co-launching a youtube chat show covering loads of fun topics and I intend to upload a couple more of my own vlogs and videos onto that platform as well so my followers can get to know me a little better.
My acting credits are all available on my imdb page as well although under a different name at the mo https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5617154/“
Anything specific you’d like to have mentioned in the article?
Would definitely like the mention of my Ms Great Britain finalist choice and my acting work. But I’m happy & trust the team to do the work 🙂
