Interview with Carbonicmass

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

My career path has been many different adventures throughout my life, but here’s one story. I was blessed to start playing the drums at five years old and eventually became a successful Musician as I am today. I’ve won many awards for my many talents Music Surfing, Sailing, and Being an Owner and Winemaker Of my Private Estate, Logan Vineyards, here in NJ. I’ve always loved contributing and helping others in the world as much as possible. I’m very blessed always to have such a positive outlook on life, and my family has kept me going to the Top.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

Being a professional Musician and Vineyard Owner/Winemaker all these years, I have to say the most extraordinary thing is my music career. I received my Masters in Music from Princeton University in 2016, and I got a job offer to Teach for the University, which is beyond a blessing! Also, while I was in college, I interned for NBC, and they Hired me to do Music Production for Saturday Night Live. So, since 2018, I have been writing and producing my Music for SNL and other well-known brands. I work on many shows for Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Pearl Jam, Journey, Metallica, etc. Aside from all that, I own my Vineyard and make my wine, so real-life could not get any better.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I would recommend always trying different things to keep your life exciting and fulfilling. Always take a step back, look up at the sky, and breathe to remind yourself that you are still here and alive. So many people burn themselves out because they have worked the same job for a number of years, always trying to please other people and not concentrating on themselves. Sometimes everyone needs a change, so always make sure you take that extra step and shift your life in another direction. Step outside of your comfort zone for something new and exciting that will be your new Zen throughout your life. Especially in the world we live in now, make sure you are happy and have nothing to prove to yourself.

None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I like to thank my parents most of all. They have been there for me since day 1, and they still support my dreams 100%. Also wants to thank all my Idols that I looked up to being a Drummer, especially John Bonham from Led Zeppelin and Neil Peart From RUSH.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Being an outstanding well respected public figure in the music world, I contribute to all music foundations to build schools and always make sure that kids of all ages have the opportunity to learn Music and to share their gifts with the world. I also do a lot of charity work for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, constantly breaking new ground to help these beautiful children. But unfortunately, the children have to worry about survival when all they should be concerned about is just being a kid and having fun with no worries. I’m blessed to have such a big heart, and it will never change.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Live life to the fullest and treat each other as you want to be treated. All you need is love. Always be kind to others, and your souls will always be intact.
