Interview with Calev (@goodbyecalev)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Music has always been my calling. I knew that at a very young age. The city I grew up in also has a huge influence on my decision to choose this career path because Portland is a city of dreams and opportunities.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Just keep pushing forward no matter what. You need to know what you want, set your eyes on it, and then plunge for it. You cannot succeed while being indecisive, so make sure you know your goals.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I think for me it’s the place I grew up in. The city of Portland has first inspired me, then helped me dream, and then gave me opportunities to see myself succeed. I’m immensely proud of my city.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I try to help budding artists achieve their dreams like I achieved mine. Everyone deserves to get what they want, but sometimes people just need a slight push, you know? I give them that push and that is why I have been able to produce some of the industry’s top talents.
Do you have a favourite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Jim Rohn once beautifully said, “If you are not willing to risk the usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.” I hope everyone finds that enthusiasm, it is magical.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
