Interview with Brandon Hale (@Realxman)
Thank you so much for joining us! Tell us about yourself?
Hello, thank you for having me. I am Brandon Hale, more commonly known for my stage name, realXman. I am a musician, more specifically a rapper.
How did you come to where you are now? Like was there any moment that made you realize rapping is the right path for you?
Honestly, I don’t know. Ever since I remember, I have been making music. I think I was destined to rap. Music has been part of my life since I was a child; it was the mode through which I expressed my real self. So you can say I knew this is my career path since I was a child.
Do you have any advice for your fans who want to be like you?
I would say always be humble and patient. These two are secret ingredients for happiness. Trust me. You can not achieve anything without them. Just believe in yourself. Keep working hard while being patient and humble, and good things will come to you.
Do you have a favourite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was
relevant to you in your life?
There are many, but currently, I really like, “if you want something long-lasting, take your time.” I just think this summarizes my life easily. I believe nothing comes easy in life, and most permanent things in life come to those who wait. I kept working hard every day, and it was after years of grind I was able to achieve success.
Since you have been in this field for so long, is there any memory that is your favourite?
My favourite memory would always be my collaboration with Twanye, an American rapper, on a song called Big. I really enjoyed working on that song, and to see it do well at such an early start of my career just really made me happy.
