Interview with Bangin Blanco (@banginblanco)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Since I was a kid, I was always musically inclined. I used to take band practice at school and listen to a lot of music. I knew throughout my childhood that when I grew up I wanted to do something related to music. Then I finally found my calling in rap.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Just do what you love and follow your heart. Don’t forget to take breaks and treasure your time with your friends.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My friends and my fellow musicians never fail to work hard and set an inspiration for all of us. My close friends have always been extremely supportive of my interests and my music. So I am most thankful to them.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I believe music brings people together despite their differences so I aim to help people through my songs.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Music once admitted to the soul, becomes a sort of spirit, and never dies.”-Edward Bulwer Lytton
