Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Since childhood, Ashil is very close to music. His father was devoted to music and, they used to keep playing music tunes in their home throughout the day. Ashil’s family was just like every other Indian family. As a child, Ashil was never fond of studying and spent most of the time playing video games.He showed interest on electronic dance music at an early age and learned to use CDJs at the age of 15. in 2012 he started perfoming in his home town kochi, as the kid later on he moved to Bangalore for his further studies which made an absolute impact on his DJing career, he performed alongside with various international DJs and featured several times as headliner artist in music festivals. He graduated from the music’s cool in Bangalore as an electronic music producer. Later on 2019 he moved to London for BSC Audio Technology at the University of Hertfordshire, while he was pursuing his studies he produced a track called “FLEX” which came under top 100 bass house chart on Spinnin’ records talent pool. Later on he started to build his on brand in music music industry in the UK by the name Afterdark Media which is one of the best party hosts in the country and out the country providing the best party experience with talented DJs and producers from all around the world.

Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?

In 2018, Ashil ranked #1 for WAR OF DJs which is orgianised by Dunes music festival at Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Set attainable and clearly defined goals, Create a plan, Set a timeline, Consider the obstacles, Change your mindset and visualise your goals, Create positive reinforcements, Consider your environment, Set aside time and rack your progress

None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story? *

While he was pursuing his music production course back in Bangalore he met Bedango Goswami who’s his tutor, music producer and sound engineer (RATED) who inspire him towards music

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world? *

Back in Nov 2019 Ashil played his music at Kelly’s RAG RUN Charity Event for the Ollie Foundation which is charity funding suicide intervention training in Hertfordshire.

Do you have a favorites “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
