Interview with Antonio Turiello
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
My interest in music began at the age of 8 when I started listening to music every day through LP and eventually moving on to CDs and digital music players. I started producing music as an afterschool project in 2011 but quickly realized that this was my true calling, it was something I was extremely passionate about.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Follow your passion with dedication and stay inspired. Anything worthwhile does not come easily, so do not be afraid of challenges and be ready to face your struggles head-on!
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My musical journey was heavily inspired by many legendary DJs such as Don Diablo, Seth Hills, Oliver Heldens and Tchami. They helped me come into my own as a music producer and develop my unique style. I hope to be as great as them one day.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I express myself through my music and when people listen to it, or dance to it, it makes them feel good, it uplifts them and brings positivity to their life. That is more than I could ask for.
Do you have a favourite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Music is free art to express yourself”.
I think music is an integral part of life for everyone. It is such a pure medium to express yourself and in my opinion, it is a form of art. It is a universal language that everyone understands. Making music, or even just listening to it, is a therapeutic and freeing experience that is truly worth appreciating.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
They can follow me on Instagram (@antonyturiellofficialmusic) which is my primary social media. I share bits of my life and frequent updates about my work, family and music over there.
