Interview with Andy Peeke

Interview with Andy Peeke

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I was always interested in show business. My dad had done a number of commercials and I saw those in our house growing up. When I started out with Ford models I quickly had a lot of success by landing national advertising campaigns with Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren, and Brooks Brothers. I transitioned into doing more film and television work along with many commercials. Currently, most of my work involves working as a game show host & emceeing large public and corporate events for clients such as NBC, Twitter, ESPN.

Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I feel like every day has an interesting story to share. I’ve been very fortunate to work with some great people in my industry and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future has to offer.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Tips to help you thrive: find the things that you particularly enjoy and try to do that, while at the same time trying to avoid doing things that you do not enjoy. I know that sounds over-simplistic, but it will definitely help anyone to thrive and not run themselves into the ground.

None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My parents have always been very supportive of me in my career path, I always encourage myself to do whatever I felt like doing without pushing me in any direction.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I truly enjoy helping others to reach their goals and I have volunteered much of my time to people who want to better themselves in their life and career.

Do you have a favourite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Tough times don’t last, tough people do” I always think about this quote when things get tough in life and it reminds me that I just need to keep moving forward and things will get better.
