Interview with Amjad (@just_amjad)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I studied architecture engineering and started my own decoration company for seven years. I believe my skills are well-suited because I’ve been doing this for years, and now I have a great experience. I care about helping people and making an impact, and this career allows me to do that.

Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

Managing the decoration business in Dubai is full of daily experiences.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Life is full of chances. Just prove your best. Always give your best and leave the rest on the Almighty. HE has better plans for you. So, never quit. The moment you finish, you stop, accept failure. So, don’t quit.

None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person whom you are grateful for who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My family is the best support I got while am doing this business.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Of course, I build lovely places. My work and my success are a source of goodness for the others as I provide them a roof where they can live their luxerious life.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Live your day like it’s the last day. “Remember that you must die.” The phrase has its origins in ancient Rome. It is believed that enslaved people paying generals on victory parades whispered the words as a reminder of their commander’s mortality to prevent them from being consumed by hubris (excessive pride and self-confidence).
