Interview with [email protected](oficial-allykat2.0)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Sure, like most people during Covid lockdowns and quarantines, I downloaded Tiktok just to pass time . I started with just watching other creators because I was nervous about shooting my own videos. But eventually I seen how much fun some of the trends were and I started recording some myself. When I realized the impact and influence some of the creators had on followers and fans I decided I wanted to make a difference somehow to the individuals like myself who were not confident with themselves or who were afraid of what others May say. I seen a need to make sure everyone knew they were appreciated and welcomed for exactly who and what they are .Not for how they looked or how skinny they were or what color their skin was or what religion they practiced. No judgments- no hatred. Just one love for all. I had seen some “keyboard” warriors as I like to call them make some mean comments on videos and lives of just normal folk like me just trying to have fun and right then and there I decided I wanted to make a difference somehow. Now as like a lot of creator I made some mistakes and my very first account was taken from me- im not proud of that and I’m being as honest as I can be. As with anything in life you have those who do not like or appreciate what you do. At the time I didn’t know how to fight for my account so I let it go and started over. I lost over 85,000 followers with that and it hurt my heart. None of us are perfect but I created another account, made the changes necessary to make sure I was reaching my fans in a positive manner and making sure even if I had (and I do as we all do) those that didn’t like my positivity- my message would still be safe . I have since been successful in that and have learned that as with all things in life you have to stay focused , stay positive, learn your lesson and apply it .

Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?

Since starting this journey I have inspired many to come out of their proverbial shell and not be scared to show their true self. I have had many that are my age message me and tell me that because of me and my confidence they were able to start making videos and posting them. They had further told me that seeing me on a daily bases brought them joy and happiness because I was so positive about life which in turn made them start thinking postive. When you hear something like this it definitely humbled you and makes you realize that you can do so much good in the world even if it’s just 1 person at a time . Of course we all learn lessons along the way and none of us are perfect but that’s why my fans love me. I am honest about who I am and present myself as such. Just a person trying to do my best to make people understand that they are perfect just as they are and don’t have to fit into this small box of what others think we should look like or how we should act.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

My tips for this are simple. Take some time to yourself when needed. Don’t be afraid to breathe. We all make mistakes sometimes but it’s important to know our mistakes do not define who we are. They simply teach us a life lesson that we can improve on and apply to future situations.

None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I have to be honest – although he may think different – my husband is my inspiration. He always tells me I am the most positive person he has ever met in his life and that he doesn’t know how I handle some of the things I do with such grace and understanding. He further explains he doesn’t know how I turned out as such a great caring, loving, compassionate person with all I have dealt with in life. To be honest- he brings out the best in me. If we’re lucky, we get to spend time with that 1 person in life who makes you shine and who inspires us to be our best. He had been through so much previously before meeting me and hearing all the hardships he had in life made me realize that he deserved so much more . Truthfully with him he makes everything effortless. He is definitely my Ying to Yang and he indorired me everyday in one way or another to be the best version of myself I can be.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I am a very simple , humble person. Each and everyday I start it by being thankful to wake up. I remind all my fans of this as well. I make sure to remind myself that life is fleeting and we need to make sure we live it to the fullest each day. This mindset is passed to my fans. I show them what a beautiful world this can be when you have the mindset to see it for what it truly is. Yes there is bad things in the world but the key is to embrace the good so when the bad rears it’s ugly head, you have enough love and compassion to be able to conquer it

Do you have a favourite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Life lessons, we all have those, and none more important than any others. However, the best piece of advice I can give is to stay humble. Remember where you come from. Be compassionate to your fellow human being, you do not know what someone is going through or what they are trying to overcome. You have no idea what kind of impact you can have on another human being by just a word or a look you give them. Also remember to smile! Smiles are contagious and who knows , by just your kind gesture and smile you could make a huge impact on someone else’s days.
