Interview with ALIWOOD (@aliwoodrhc)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I started creating music with just passion and no intentions of creating a career. After years invested, I started getting booked and selling merch. My passion comes from creating motivational music that uplifts the listeners.

Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?

I recently did a song collaboration with rap legend, The Game. The song will be released sometime in 2022.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Every time you feel like quiting, remember why you started and how it makes you feel. Remember quality music will out live your existence on earth. Make sure to make meaningful music to you and hopefully to uplift your audience as there is too much negativity out there already.

None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

When I started writing and producing music, I was embarrassed to show my work. I created content for the first 4 years and wouldn’t call myself an artist or producer. I remember the first time I felt like an artist was because a music legend, Devante Swing, believed in my music and did a verse on the song with me.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

My project Welcome to ALIWOOD is a motivational album made to uplift the listeners. The songs are relatable to anyone with a goal of success in mind going through hardship. I hope my music can be used to channel energy in a positive way. I want my audience to know, if I make it, they can for sure.

Do you have a favourite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

” Everyone wants to be the boss, until it’s time to work like a boss. Anything is possible, but understand the work that it will take and make sure it is worth it to you.
