Interview with Alex Rasomar (@alexrasomar01
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I started traveling when I was young. From Chicago to many many places around the world. I was on a flight to honolulu about 6 years ago and got stranded in LA. Decided to make the most of my layover and go to the nearest beach. 1 year later I had that itch to travel so I started going to the closest and cheapest beach I could find by plane and that was manhattan beach, fast forward 6 years and once covid hit I packed all my things, shipped my car didnt tell a single person and moved to LA where I currently travel to honolulu, chicago, dallas to live. Remote work for a large accounting firm changed my life. And I would not be living the dream if I wasn’t in LA.
Can you share the most interest in exciting happened to you since you started doing this?
was able to make a new life in so many places all around the world, I travel for a living and being on a plane headed to one of my spots in the world is priceless
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
travel, get out of your comfort zone and do the things that are uncomfortable to find the true meaning of life. And to build lasting relationships with people, having friends makes life so much better
None of us can succeed without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Met him and have been following him for years, he is a UFC fighter that I’ve looked up to. Hes up there in the UFC, works so hard, does the right things, and is humble through it all.
That is one person that I know is living the most fulfilling life of anyone that is high up there.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I actively donate to the homeless during my hawaii trips (shown on my instagram) and I really want people to be the best they can be. I want people to know that a better life is possibly waiting for them on the other side and they just have to take the risk to find it.
Do you have a favourite “written Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Life is short, enjoy every moment while it lasts.
I was in vegas during the mass shooting that took place a few years ago. Me and my best friend were out and about and were walking through the airport as the shooting was happening. The pilot rejected our takeoff and took us back to the gate and told everyone there was a security threat in the airport. I googled the vegas news and saw the mass shooting and showed everyone on the plane. For a moment we were so worried about our safety and hid in the bathroom. I knew that If we were 1 casino down and departed one day later like originally planned we may not be on this earth any more. That taught me that life is so short. Live life the way you want it and enjoy every moment becuase you never know when your time might be up.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
