Interview with Akaash Joshi (@akaashjoshi)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I am a 20/year-old entrepreneur who finished my secondary education at The Kingswinford School. I dropped out of college one year in to pursue a career in online marketing. 5 years into the industry, I am working with some of the world’s biggest brands, such as Lacoste,, and even Cernucci.

Can you share the most exciting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

In and around Father’s Day 2019 was the first time a client could genuinely quit their job and work full time on their brand. Super heartwarming experience.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?

Leave days in the week to solely relax and enjoy your time with friends and family. Work is essential, but cherish the time you have with people around you.

None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person whom you are grateful for who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Wilson, my mentor, without him giving me a shot at 15 years old to learn directly from him and Kevin, I genuinely don’t know what I’d be doing today; forever grateful.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I’m looking to begin building wells in underprivileged countries this year

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

One of Jeff Bezos’ colleagues said that ‘other than the laws of physics, everything is up for question for Jeff’ this rings utterly faithful to me. When looking to strive for greatness, everything can be improved. In business, in life even in relationships.

How can our readers follow you on social media?
