Interview with Ahmed Al Khalifa

Interview with Ahmed Al Khalifa

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I grew up loving football. Even as a child, I loved to play football and even won several competitions and tournaments as a part of different local teams. That is where my career choice as a footballer emerged from.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

As a football player, I think many people would assume that your work is all fun and games. This is not entirely true and we athletes do tend to get stressed, worked up and frustrated very often that may lead to a burn out. My suggestion to these people will be to always keep your head straight and remember why you’re in this profession.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

All of the credit goes to my family for being ever so supportive and loving. If not for their support, I wouldn’t be where I am.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Bringing goodness to the world is an essential duty of every being. We all play our part in how things turn out for someone else. I always try my best to use my privilege and power to help people out.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

There’s this quote by Oprah Winfrey “If you look at what you have in life, you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you’ll never have enough.” I strongly believe in this quote and think that we should always be grateful for what we have.
