Interview @ JUSTBEATZ (justbeatzzz)
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you share your tale of what brought you here?
Since a very young age, I have enjoyed being a DJ at parties and small LA events. It was around 2015 when I started my journey as a music producer. I think it was a mixture of my background as a DJ and my family’s involvement in the music industry that played a massive role in bringing me where I am today.
Do you have any advice for people who are new to this field?
One of the most extensive advice I can give is to socialize and not be shy to work and connect with people. Keep an eye on who are new or rising artists and work with them. Only by starting from the ground can you reach the top. Social media is also your best friend. Promote yourself a lot. Stay active because this generation does everything alone, and if you want recognition, social media is the best place for it.
You know how they say we can’t be where we are today without certain people’s support. Is there anyone who helped you get here or inspired you to be where you are today?
Oh definitely, I give this credit to my father. Music was his life, his safe haven. I grew up watching him make music for Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and WWE Aggression albums in the 90s and 2000s. I think he is the big reason why I am here today. He is my inspiration.
What is a quality about your brand that sets you apart?
I believe what sets me apart is my ears for music. I think I have this ability to see the entire song through till the end. I might not be able to play instruments, but I know how to produce music and have an ear for it, which not many have. With practice, anyone can master an instrument, but you can’t develop an ear for it.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
